Behind my gaze.

If my friends have to describe me, they'd probably say I'm quiet and reserved, and that my eyes speak for me.

I live surrounded by images. Beyond capturing or creating them, I collect them, almost compulsively. They pile up on my phone, cover my walls like sprawling mood boards, spill out of my Pinterest boards. Wherever I go, I collect them ; an exhibition, a quality of light, a stolen moment while traveling. Looking isn't just my job, it's also my way of existing in this world.

I'm an art director and photographer, trained between Paris and Tokyo, where I lived for six years. Those six years gave birth to a double culture that runs through all my work : on one side, the precision, patience, and attention to detail, but also the extravagance that define Japan ; on the other, the French taste for elegance, storytelling, and texture.

+ WHO AM I ?

+ PHILOSOPHY

A point of view.

Taking a picture is to choose. Every frame is a decision : what to include, what to leave out of the frame, what to reveal without showing everything. It's not just a matter of technique ; it's, above all, a point of view.

Beyond mastery, experimentation is also part of how I work : bending the rules, testing, letting chance enter the frame to see what it makes of it. That's where my creativity expresses itself best.

Because what I'm looking for isn't always visible at first glance : a restrained emotion, a quiet strangeness, a moment that resists, a hidden detail. The right image isn't the most beautiful one; it's the one that says something true ; about the light, about the moment, about something no one had quite looked at that way before.
