ANALOG
+ STATEMENT
The imperfect gaze.
Collections of fragments captured on 35mm. Here, grain isn't an artifice, but the imperfect texture of the captured moment. For me, analog photography is a way of letting go, of finding satisfaction in what resists control. Every light leak, every unintended blur, every crooked horizon line, every accident on the film carries a trace that will only ever happen once. I let the unexpected shape the contours of the image, much to the dismay of my perfectionism.
